Life Skills Training

In a two-day training, learn to implement the Life Skills Training curriculum:
A research and skills-based tobacco, alcohol and drug abuse prevention program for grades 6-9, Levels 1, 2, & 3

  • A research-based curriculum that has demonstrated effectiveness in reducing the incidence of substance abuse by youth.
  • Hands-on experience with curriculum ensures the fidelity required for research-based results.
  • Social learning & behavior change theory.

Location: Montpelier, VT
Dates: Oct 13-14, 2005
Times: 8:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Cost:
  • Early Registration (Registration prior to two weeks of the training) $350 per person includes continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, supplemental materials, and membership on electronic list serve.
  • For late registration (within 2 weeks of training) add $10.
  • Reminder: Curriculum materials are not included in the registration fee and need to be purchased in advance. Contact Princeton Health Press at 800-636-3415. Level One Teacher’s Manual is being used in this training.

IMPORTANT: If you are registering through your organization or agency, please send/e-mail or fax a copy of your registration form directly to Center for Health and Learning to ensure enrollment.

A confirmation notice with directions will be sent to each participant.

To cancel your registration, contact Center for Health and Learning at (802) 254-6590. Fees are refunded less $25 processing fee plus any other costs incurred. Center for Health and Learning reserves the right to cancel trainings.
