(Private Contract) Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Education (K-12)

Fulfills Act 51 Requirements-Stafford Tech
|
This training is open only to educators and paraprofessionals from the Stafford Technical Center. It will be split between two days, one on August 22, to be held at Goshen Day Camp, and one on November 10 at Stafford Technical Center.
This interactive training covers: pharmacology, chemical use continuum, chemical dependency in the family, societal and personal attitudes, policy and legal issues, support and referral for students in distress, curriculum development, school climate and drinking and driving. This training will cover material relevant to grades K-12. Participant materials, continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Please bring with you a copy of the Substance Abuse Policy from the school where you work.
