Puberty

The Wonder Years

This one-day training prepares educators, counselors and nurses to conduct puberty education using the new curriculum “Puberty: The Wonder Years.” Participants will understand Vermont’s requirements for teaching sexuality education, and will practice setting ground rules and answering sensitive questions. The training addresses how to strengthen parental involvement and how to use performance assessment.

This training is led by JoEllen Tarallo-Falk, Ed.D., C.H.E.S.

Times: 8:45 am – 3:00 pm
Cost:
  • Early Registration (Registration prior to two weeks of the training) $200 includes snacks, lunch, materials and curriculum. Teams are encouraged to attend. Teams willing to share a curriculum may register additional people for $150 per person.
  • For late registration (within 2 weeks of training) add $10.
Registration: Space is limited – register early!

A confirmation notice with directions will be emailed to each participant.

Cancellation/Refund Schedule
If a participant cancels…................the refund is:
more than 10 days prior to a training…......100%
10 days – 2 days prior to the training…..... 50%
1 day prior to the training/ no-show…....... 0%

The Center for Health and Learning reserves the right to cancel trainings.
If a training is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be held on a pre-determined snow date. If a participant is unable to attend on the snow date, 100% of the fee will be refunded.
