Foundation Grants for Community Coalitions

Under a grant from the VT Dpt of Health, Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Programs
|
The workshop will focus on the world of foundation grants—finding the right foundations, working with foundations, and preparing proposals.
About the Trainer: Chuck Putney teaches grant proposal writing nationally. He has been involved with New Directions coalitions and tobacco coalitions throughout Vermont, and has developed successful proposals for VDOH and local coalitions in Vermont.

Registration and continental breakfast will begin at 8:30. The training begins promptly at 9 am. There will be a one-hour break for lunch (on your own). The training will conclude at 4:30 pm.

Cost:

$30 registration fee includes materials and a continental breakfast.
There will be a one-hour break for lunch. Participants may bring a bag lunch or may eat at local restaraunts at their own expense.

Cancellation/Refund Schedule If a participant cancels…................the refund is: more than 10 days prior to a training…......100% 10 days – 2 days prior to the training…..... 50% 1 day prior to the training/ no-show…....... 0%
The Center for Health and Learning reserves the right to cancel trainings. If a training is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be held on a pre-determined snow date. If a participant is unable to attend on the snow date, 100% of the fee will be refunded.
