Description
Changing the food and drink that schools sell to students outside of school meals can be daunting, but it doesn’t have to be. This day-long training will help state stakeholders, school teams and other partners choose resources and share strategies to implement the Vermont Nutrition Policy Guidelines for competitive foods and beverages while maintaining or boosting revenue opportunities. You will learn best practices for engaging students, parents and administrators and leave the training with clear actions to take. Presented by Vermont Action for Healthy Kids in collaboration with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.
