ADAP Substance Abuse Prevention Training Series

DESCRIPTION
There are key elements to successful proposals. Without a clear problem statement, measurable outcomes and an explicit relationship between your planned activities and the problem you’ve identified, you have little hope of being successful.
This workshop focuses on how to build these key elements around a client-centered problem statement and how that problem statement will aid you in searching for funds and partners.
Topics include:
1) Developing an effective program plan and identifying the grant makers that would support it.
2) The key element of a clear and compelling proposal.
3) Talking about your organization.
4) Structuring your grant-seeking plan.
4) Foundations and why they give more money.
5) Government grants.
6) Research tools and strategies.
