Does your organization feel forced to flow with changes in the funding stream instead of respond to the needs of the community you serve? This training will help you think outside of the grant writing box to envision other ways to bring in financial support. Depending on the needs of the participants, the training may focus on special events, mailings, major donor cultivation, and other types of solicitation.

“I think someone like the Director of COTS could do it. I know she is very good at fundraising. The United Way should be able to provide the name of someone as well. Also, I am going to CADCA in February and plan to attend a session on this so might have some handouts and stuff you could use after that. I could do a basic training on this as well but would have to wait until later in the year to do it.”
